Inclusional Approach

The art of capturing memories

Ginger Snaps respect and recognize the values and diversity to individuals.  You will be listened too as well as valued as a customer.  You will be treated with dignity and respect at all times and I hope through a mutual respect, that there will be a positive outcome, by way of excellent photography that you will admire for years to come.

I have over 20 years experience of working with both adults and children with additional needs, I know that it is really important that photography is accessible to all.

All individuals are different and everyone should feel relaxed and enjoy the photography experience.

I like to go with the flow, with no time pressures this gives a peace of mind to capture special moments.

The studio is packed with toys and items to encourage participation. I understand that this may also be too much for the individuals so we can alter the studio environment to meet the sensory needs of all, including calming music. The children and adults can play games, sing, dance and have as many breaks as needed. I encourage parents to bring a child’s favourite toy with them.

I am also trained in the following areas –

• Child and Adolescent Counselling Level 3

• Diploma in Higher Education in Nursing (Learning Disabilities)

• Certificate in Play Therapy.

• Creative Art Therapist

• Working knowledge of Makaton.
